Bartolomé offers the best views of the Galapagos, including fascinating
geological formations such as Pinnacle Rock, the most photographed site
of the islands. Great snorkeling opportunities off a golden beach with
penguins and sea lions.
In Egas Port we take a nice walk along the coast to find sea birds,
coastal and migratory birds; includes an optional visit to the Salt
Mines. At this visitor site you can observe the two species of sea
lions: Fur “seals” and Galapagos Sea Lion.
Dragon Hill is a great place to spot the two species of iguanas:
marine and land. Walk through a Palo Santo and giant Opuntia cactus
forest, beautiful landscape from the highest point.The forest is home to
mockingbirds, Darwin’s finches, Yellow Warblers and Galapagos Doves.
North Seymour is one of the few places in the Galapagos where you will encounter frigatebirds nesting and mating in the wild.
Santa Cruz Highlands are prime spots to spot Vermilion Flycatcher and Darwin’s finches.
